  1. Hello! Today I’m bringing some more updates about the development of my project World Rising. Over the past few weeks I have been studying animations extensively, and I finally managed to understand much better how they work within the engine. At first I tried to use some of the animals that already exist in the game, but I wasn’t able to adapt them successfully. Because of that, I decided to take a different approach: creating my own animals from scratch, including their skeletons and animations. Those who have been following the project already know that I am currently working on the Japanese flora before moving forward with the civilizations. Now it’s time to start developing the fauna as well. My goal is to create between 10 and 20 animals that represent different regions of the map. Among them, I also plan to include a legendary megafauna creature, inspired by animals that lived between 15,000 and 10,000 years ago. This creature would act as a kind of natural boss, providing a large amount of food when defeated by players. In addition, I have been working hard on improving the game's performance, reworking meshes, textures, and other assets to ensure players have the best possible experience during gameplay. For now, here is an image showing some of the animals I have created so far. They do not have animations yet, but they are already part of the process of building the game's ecosystem.

  3. This map of mine is quite large, with 768 tiles. I'm currently working on improving the game's performance before moving forward with the project. I've adjusted many things that have greatly improved performance, but there's still a long way to go, haha.

  8. Haha, yes, it's true. The problem is that I haven't even finished the first civilization yet, lol. And I changed so many things in the game that the PETRA BOT is broken, so whoever plays won't find a real challenge.

  11. Hello, I'm here to share some more gameplay images of my World Rising mod. I've been working a lot on the natural environment. I've created plants, trees, grass, rocks, and more... There are still a few things missing to finish this part of the Japanese flora. I hope you enjoy it.

  13. Good evening everyone!!! I’d like to share some more updates about my mod World Rising! Let’s start with the flora I’ve created new trees, grass, and plants inspired by the Japan region, with the goal of developing a dedicated biome for this area. I’m also working on a Japan-themed map to fully support this environment. I’ve also finished the Jomon Culture Monument, and I have to say—I’m really impressed with the result. It was one of the most enjoyable assets I’ve created so far, both visually and culturally. Behind the scenes, I’ve made many adjustments to unit and building templates, improving balance and overall organization. My next step is to continue creating more trees to further enrich the Japanese flora. After that, I plan to fully finalize the Jomon culture. For now, enjoy some screenshots of the progress!
  14. Hi everyone, I'm asking for help here in the group because I'm having a lot of trouble creating animations for my objects. This is greatly delaying my project. The tutorial I found here seems outdated for the current version of Blender, and the videos I find online about bones and animation don't seem to work correctly with the game. I would appreciate it if you could suggest a video tutorial or a simpler, more functional explanation of how to animate correctly for the game and export correctly.

  16. Hi everyone, I'm here to give you an update on my World Rising project. The Jomon culture is 90% complete, only needing improvements to the watchtowers, rebuilding the walls, and creating the monument. I've made several adjustments regarding the order of construction, technology order, and units. I've been studying animation but haven't yet achieved the expected result; I'm studying more about it... here are some images from the Stone Age, which is 100% complete. I'll bring more news soon.

  18. Hello everyone! I’d like to share the latest updates from the project as we wrap up the year. I’ve redone many textures and improved several in-game structures. At the moment, I’m reworking all terrain textures, developing the building damage system, and refining many core gameplay mechanics.   19. New updates on the World Rising project! Textures I’ve recreated many terrain textures at 2048×2048, significantly improving ground quality and visual fidelity. I plan to apply this standard to all terrain textures, making the environments even more detailed and realistic. I’ve also started working on Japanese fauna, beginning with soil and ground textures, and I’m reworking building textures to push realism even further. Destruction Buildings now show visible damage as they are attacked, gradually deteriorating until they are fully destroyed, adding more impact and immersion to the gameplay. Buildings I’ve added new upgrades and new buildings, expanding strategic options and gameplay depth. Technologies I’ve also implemented new technologies, further enhancing progression and overall game complexity. Bug Fixes Several bugs have been fixed along the way. Right now, my main focus is on fine-tuning and reworking building textures, refining every visual detail. Thank you to everyone who’s following the project.   20. Hi my friend, I can make them available without any problem. Just tell me who I should send the files to. Regarding the bodies, they are nude and I create the clothing over them. If I'm not mistaken, the women have about 6 different bodies where I alternate between clothes and accessories.
  21. Olá a todos, gostaria de compartilhar algumas novidades sobre o meu projeto World Rising. Nas últimas semanas, enfrentei vários desafios ao tentar modificar o layout do jogo. Ainda não consegui implementar tudo exatamente como planejei inicialmente, mas estou progredindo e aprendendo mais a cada dia. Como parte desse processo, redesenhei completamente o logotipo , criei novas imagens de fundo e, sinceramente, estou muito feliz com os resultados até agora. Também corrigi alguns bugs que estavam causando problemas — e, como sempre acontece no desenvolvimento de jogos, novos surgiram pelo caminho haha faz parte da jornada. Meu próximo objetivo é me concentrar um pouco mais na IA do jogo antes de voltar a criar novas unidades, tecnologias e edifícios. Estou muito animado para lançar uma versão jogável para vocês testarem em breve. Por enquanto, aqui estão algumas imagens mostrando o progresso recente. Espero que gostem!
