  1. And yes! older and damaged for authenticity :D

Why? Back in 0 A.D. it wasn't old yet ;-)

i just need more time and 34 hours a day

Having no need for sleep would help too xD

    blender's UI is quitte frightening

Don't worry, you won't be using it, working with blender is all about the shortkeys. All you need is time and ... well ... some more time.

  2. @Lion: The texture for these temples will be much more complicated to make, so I can't just UV unwrap them and send them to you, I'll first make some textures to figure out what we need exactly and which parts can be reused.

What we need to make now is a egypt_struct texture that should contain all of the textures needed for each building.

Do you think you could get me a texture for 90 or 180 degrees of a pillar like this:

    post-4287-0-94105300-1364739948_thumb.jp

It has to be seamless on the edges so that I can wrap it all around.

Make it something colorful :-) With team colour, of course!

(just place the texture in a long rectangle, I'll stick it to the model afterwards)

  3. Out of curiosity, why do you prefer reseeding?
not about prefering reseeding or not, but about disliking unlimited sources of resource

Making farms unlimited will raise the value of farms, this is a good thing. This makes destroying farms more worthwhile. For farms you'll need lots and lots of space, so you won't be able to defend all of them adequately, allowing raid tactics to really injure an economy.

The bad consequence is, as stated before, that you get an infinite resource, which is not immediately something I dislike, but what I do dislike is a static infinite resource (dynamic: eg. tree growth, dynamic animal populations; static: eg. fish in AoM, infinite farms)

  4. in Windows please, sorry, idawin for my awkwardness

Shouldn't be very different in windows. Just right click the launcher, select 'make link' or 'make shortcut'. Open the properties window of this shortcut and add "-mod=egypt" to the command line as shown in my screenshot.

  5. The git repository is not for "normal users", it is meant for us, and for those people who really want to be up to date with the project. As soon as we have one finished civ we will upload an archive for the "normal players".

Just learn the few commands you'll need for the time being.
