Has anyone noticed all the new members suddenly, with the rafle going on? I mean suddenly i see a good amount of people with 1 post, the one in the raffle sign up topic. What do yall think about it? I honesly dont think its fair to those of us that have been here a while(not really me per say, but for those of u long term members.) Some of them have just gone inactive, and i dont have anything against them. Its the ones that joined, Yesterday, and the day b4. THose are the ones i have a problem with.
What are your thoughts?
I was thinking the same thing. I would, however, just take a precaution and run an IP Address search and see if any of them match.
Yes! *Gets motivated to start posting more*You'll see a lot of people that signed up months or years ago and then only lurked since that time. It's fine by me. That's one of the reasons we're holding the raffle: to rekindle some interest. Have no worry though, in the future we'll have rewards for those forum members with the most participation. Trust me.
I have two things to say :
- I hope that most people are honest
- While there might be ways to cheat I doubt that someone would spend the time it would take to creat a large number of accounts. (Especially since one would probably be able to earn the amount of money a one-year subscription costs in about that time AFAIK one can't register more than one account from the same IP-number (I might be wrong though), one needs a different email address for each and one also needs to activate the account by clicking a link in an email (unless I'm wrong, it has been some months since I registered now) and finally one needs to reply in that topic.)
Well, technically, you can create more than one accounts with only one IP Address--I myself have three siblings (two haven't posted in the longest time) that are here. Unless it's a new rule that's been waved within the last two years. But yeah, who in their right mind would create several accounts just to win a magazine subsciption? Unfortunately for us, Erik, there are plenty of people in this world that aren't in the "right mind".
By the way, congrats to Michael for making the most successful topic of the year.

Ya, I've known about this movie for a few months, now. I'll probably watch it along with Eragon--when I've got 3 hours to waste.
-
Glorian - Pride or Pain (Or something along those lines. )
I've never heard the Doom 3 music--I'll have to get my hands on a copy.
Cheers to Michael for making the most successful topic of 2007.

Wow! Looks cool, but I'm sure it looses the "coolness" after a couple of hours.
Ash is a good fertilizer, right?

Is it possible to age three years in a few hours?
But seriously, this magazine looks awesome. I should have my local library subscribe.
Good luck to all participants!

Hey, happy birthday, Paul! I didn't know it was your birthday. How old are you turning, Bru?
And Halo Wars is coming out next year. That's a must. Oh, and you have just got to get the all-new Spider Solitaire game! It comes with over 150 shades of cards.

Interesting. My Mom said there's someone coming to her college giving a lecture about the same thing (If I remember correctly). Do you know if Bryan War-Perkins is touring the world doing this?

Sorry, I haven't seen Barbettini in awhile.
Welcome back, man!

Welcome to WFG, Sparty! Sadly, this game isn't out yet! It is due to come out "Whenever it decides to". XD However, you can keep yourself occupied by reading out Historical articles, listening to great music by Boris Hansen, watching the awesome trailer, and interacting on our community forum! Glad you can join.

Well, this is kinda old news, but Indiana Jones IV: The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is coming out next year. Lego is going all out on this one, with a new interactive computer game (Basically same setup as their Star Wars games) and 4-5 new sets that are coming out in January.
So, anyone interested?

Haha, very well done! Stephen Colbert really cracks me up.

Haha, I'd put my money down for Macedon. I already said this, but great job, y'all!
Oh, one thing: Where are the bowstrings for the Macedonian archers?

Another addition to the live action Halo shorts:

Quite poignant and well done. Reminds me of how my grandfather used to talk about WWII. Well written to be sure.
Here's hoping we get our Halo live action movie!
Here's a couple more of those Believe shorts:

Talking about 2010, I hear there's a Splintercell movie coming out then.

Nice costume, Michael! You looking forward to the new Indiana Jones movie coming out?
Well, I didn't really do anything on Halloween. I just stayed home, did math, and watched an episode of "The Office".
