Just want to say again how absolutely awesome this looks
-
Lovin' it!
-
The reflections of the mountains look more real than the actual mountains do! I could probably mistake the water to be real, if not for the land.
-
...And I can't wait to crush your siege weapons with a sortie made up of elephants
-
Carthaginians are now my favourite civ
-
So, what other civs have their walls working in-game ATM?
-
unbelievable number of public holidays...
I'm an Aussie myself, so I'm not Australia-bashing or anything, but you should try living in Fiji for two years. At least (but not limited to) 3 holidays a month...
-
Oh and Mythos - Don't worry, we all make mistakes , as long as you fix it somehow :
-
Nice model, Omicron! Can't wait to see it textured and in-game!
-
There's a Macedonian spearman a the back sticking himself through his thigh XD.
-
In fact, the entire gatehouse is facing the wrong way! Are you trying to make the fortress undefendable or something?
-
Just noticed something - The two gates at the back have their battlements facing the wrong way! Is this a bug with positioning?
-
I think he should simply cause "panic", and cause your villagers/citizens to just run around pointlessly, therefore disrupting the economy substantially.
-
Asia's still worth going for if you have like, 8 out of it's 11 territories. Still, nothing beats the "one stack in Australia" tactic...
-
Sounds strangely like my favourite board game
-
Didn't notice the "floating" wall on the left. I think it may be a problem to do with elevation.
-
That makes sense
-
Awww, come on... You know I'm the only one you can trust with the game
-
Bwahahahaaa! Your minor companies shall fall to the extreme domination of Microsoft! XP rules! Literally!
-
That's the same reason I joined up (and I bet many others are in the same boat).
-
Me want more Settlers features! Me wants to drive people crazy with really complex economic system and bad tutorial!
-
Yay! Iberian buildings almost finished! That's 1/6 of the buildings done at least!
By the way, at the current stage of development, are units able to be stationed on walls in-game, or are they "hand-placed", like most (if not all) of the formations are (currently, anyway). Just curious.

This has definitely become my favourite screenshot yet. Please continue to show walled cities for the different factions
Omicron, if you're looking for a game with nice-looking cities, you should buy "Dawn of Fantasy" when it comes out. Look it up.
I see what plumo means about the walls being too "neat". Rounding the edges off a bit (they're a bit sharp right now) should work to make it look a bit more "weathered"
Once again, amazing shot guys, and keep them coming!

Looking great! Could you tell us a little more about what the gameplay's gonna be like?

I hate Lawers . Oh, and laws. Hey, I hate the entire "copyright" concept
Why don't they understand that as long as it's a non-profit thing, it's doing nothing to undermine them? The only thing which could possibly happen with TLA is that it detracts from LotR (or The Hobbit in years to come) game sales, simply because it's free. Even if that did happen, it's their fault for being paid game-developers who can't compete with largely unpaid ones. To me, it's completely logical - let the fans do what they want as long as they don't profit financially.
Tolkien Enterprises (and to a lesser extent Estate) should aspire to be more like LucasFilm ( ). They let the fans do practically anything. INCLUDING STUFF THEY PROFIT FROM! (Google "One Man Star Wars" if you don't believe me).
Feel free to go ahead and pick my argument apart like a brain surgeon
