You guys and girls is no fun!
You know, there's more to life than being mature and having a sophisticate sense of humor!

Whoa! That was nuts, I just posted there, before I even saw that post!
Okay... will post next on "Post a Fact About the Previous Poste" thread... I predict.

ten-four
next is SGE

Oh yeah, I just saw an ad for that in the paper. Looks rather interesting...
Enjoy it.

Yes, well, I don't want him or her to become a Republican either.
But you're, right, his wealth and power was inherited from his family oil connections. Yeehaw!

Dang, this is tough...
Ideally, I'm not sure yet, but I'll probably end up teaching my kid something like: "Don't be a moron"
It's rather vague, but by the time I get to parenting age, I'll have worked out the details, I'm sure.

All the streets are filled with pain

I bought Kanye West's Late Registration for a friend last week.

Yeah, War of the Worlds had pretty neat effects but I think that
the son, Robby, I think, should've died. It was too Hollywood-ish-happy-ending with him alive at the end. Too predictable.
Other than that, it was cool. Dakota Fanning was great. -
Kanye West - Hey Mama
"I wanna scream so loud for you, cuz I'm so proud of you
Let me tell you what I'm about to do
I know I act a fool but, I promise you I'm goin back to school
I appreciate what you allowed for me
I just want you to be proud of me"

In the US, as far as I know, AO (Adults Only) is the rating that is restricted to 18 and above. And that's kinda stupid because M (Mature) is 17 and up. I don't understand why they have separate ratings for a year's difference. It seems to me that it would be better to split up early to mid-teenaged years, not the end of adolescence to young adulthood. I don't believe in ratings anyway, but now that they're here...
Oh, another one that's been vetoed is the bill that would've allowed non-citizen adults to apply for a driver's license. So illegal immigrants (primarily from Mexico) would have been able to get driver's licenses, now they can't. (Which is a good idea, in my opinion.)

Aw, sorry Sam, maybe next time

The Daily Show with Jon Stewart
The greatest show of all time . At least in the Comedy department since they cancelled Chappelle's Show.
I'm finishing up "War of the Worlds" now. Pretty good movie.

Kanye West & Consequence & Cam'Ron - Gone
I've decided that my posts are too sparse, so I'm gonna quote the song I'm listening to from now on. (Or at least as long as I can remember to.)
"They claim you never know what you got 'til it's gone
I know I got it, I don't know what y'all on
I'ma open up a store for aspiring MC's
Won't sell 'em no dream, but the inspiration is free"

That's great, I love it! Good one Esteban, good one...
Here we go: There's a new virus programmer out there with a sick sense of humor...Here are some of the things he's been designing...
Federal bureaucrat virus: Divides your hard disk into hundreds of little units, each of which do practically nothing, but all of which claim to be the most important part of the computer.
Bill Clinton virus: Promises to give equal time to all processes: 50% to poor, slow processes; 50% to middle-class processes, and 50% to rich ones. This virus protests your computer's involvement in other computer's affairs, even though it has been having one of its own for 12 years.
Congressional Virus: The computer locks up, screen splits erratically with a message appearing on each half blaming the other side for the problem.
Freudian virus: Your computer becomes obsessed with marrying its own motherboard.
PBS virus: Your PC stops every few minutes to ask for money.
Politically correct virus: Never calls itself a "virus", but instead refers to itself as an "electronic microorganism".
I'll stop there, taking a small bow...

Correct!
I think it's time to stop guessing Uppy, it just isn't going to happen.
Howa bout SGE?

Hey everyone, just giving you an update on the laws being passed (or bills being vetoed) out here in California, US. To make things a little organized, if you want to discuss one in particular, list it's number:
1) Passed: All cigarettes sold in California must be designed to self-extinguish after a few minutes of not being smoked. This is based on a law from New York and takes effect in about 2 and a half years.
2) Passed: Internet hunting of animals is banned. I think this was mentioned and discussed before...
3) Passed: It is illegal to send unsolicited advertisements to or from a CA fax machine. Fine is $500 dollars. (No more spamfax. )
4) Vetoed: A bill that would've allowed school districts to create alternative assesments to the high school exit exam. In other words, they could recieve a diploma by taking a different graduation route, other than a test.
Vetoed: A bill that would've exempted many special-education (mentally retarded) students from the exit exam.
5) Passed: High school athletes are prohibited from using dietary aids banned in college and Olympic sports and high school coaches are required to be trained in the dangers of them. This bill, I believe, is one of many that have set back companies in the supplements industry.
6) Passed: Video game makers will be required to label violent games with a big, black-n-white "18" sticker, and any retailer who sells said games to minors (under 18) can be fined $1000.
This information is courtesy sans permission of the Los Angeles Times.
I think I'll save my opinions for later...

Dude, no question: The one-eyed, one-horned, flyin' purple people eater. Think about it, you'd have your own song! And people'd be singing about you...and you could eat them for singing it, because that song sucks and you're a people eater.
No doubt, I'd be the OEOHFPPE.

That's crazy. You know, while I feel bad for the guy, I think this is a valuable lesson: Pay your bills. The IRS aren't the only ones who'll come after you.

I picked Blu Ray because I know we'll end up with it eventually. If HD-DVD is used first because it is more compatible, we'll replace it with Blu in the end because of storage capacity.

You mean "scratch" pad?
I was just about to suggest that, because not only does it have a scratch pad but I believe there is an extension that allows you to make a To-Do list and check off the items you've completed.

(Haha, nice!)
Was one of the dozens of Chemistry AP students who failed a quiz on what a small-voice kid had said during the last 2 minutes of class while everyone but the back corner (including us) was talking.

Haha, that was great. I'm sarcastically content to have them responsible for the rescue and reconstruction of New Orleans and its citizens.
Hey, King, remember who found that .GIF, eh?
