My quick little input:
I'm not really Atheist or Theist. I don't think those are my only choices (as you can see from my signature's quote).
My whole state of mind concerning a supreme being consist of
1. If there is some all-powerful entity that created the heavens and the earth and made humankind in his own image, it's got to be a guy. No woman would or could screw things up on this planet as badly as they are.
2. I'm against fanaticism. Of all kinds, atheism and theism. When you are too blinded by your own opinion that you won't listen to someone else, you have a problem and are a fanatic. Everyone tells us to stand up for what you believe in. Well, what if what you believe in is based on a system of faith that you may choose to leave? or you find out has been decieving you? I most certainly would stop standing up and believing.

As far as crycogenics, I think that we'll be assuming that the invention actually works with minimal casualty and personal damage. That's kind of the idea of "invention": it's a new machine or concept.
For time travel, it'd be pretty cool to go back and forth and interact with peoples but to be safe, I think we should only be allowed to observe other times, like in "Pastwatch" (Good book by O.S. Card). I'd wanna know three things with my time machine.
1. Was that tree Moses was talking to actually on fire or what that just another effect of his hallucination?
2. When and where did Jesus Christ and Mary Magdeline get married? (notice No If's)
3. I had to think about this last one, but I'm still undecided about if OJ did it, so I'd go back to see that too.

I think the proven absence of a higher being in the universe would result in a lot less war. The Israell-Palestine struggle (though it seems to be winding down now) would most likely cease and we'd find some reasonable way dividing the land. Or maybe they wouldn't even want the land in that area. The only (at least the most important) value it has is it's religious significance as "the Holy Land."
That's my main example, I'm sure there are others...*cough* Bush *cough*
These endless crusades on "sexual deviants" and "immoral game designers" would most likely end as well. After all, the dominantly conservative people that are against gay marriage/rights and want video games to be violence and sex free are, in my opinion, blinded by their faith. If they were to listen to other people's (liberal perhaps) views instead of taking all of their solutions and moral guidance from a book whose originality is questionable (meaning, the contents of the Bible are not confirmably the same as how their authors first wrote, since it's an unpublished work) then they might be a little more open minded about other people's choices and entertainment.
Alright I'm done for now. Sorry, some of my parenthetical statements may be a little confusing, being stuck right in the middle of the sentence. Anyway, I love a good comeback, so argue away...

Holy crap, this game freaked me out! I like how when something weird or unexpected happens, the character's heart starts pounding and he breaths harder. It's exactly what happens to me! Wish they let you play for a little longer though...
