  1. I agree with Carlos. The whole movie was dragged out so it would look like some great epic movie with a plot that was worth a turd. It wasn't in fact and I could've squeezed that movie into 15 minutes and had you folks out of the theatre in less time than it takes to watch the previews. We could've put it on cable TV and made it a commercial in between reruns on an AMC Monster Movie Marathon.

  2. Not a complete retelling IMO, but certainly an allegory of certain parts of the New Testament - Aslan's sacrifice, particularly.

    Well yeah, what I meant was a retelling of the Crucifixion.

    And in The Horse and His Boy though there are no evil female characters, the two heroes are male and their female counterparts are in my opinion portrayed as snobish and mean. They aren't evil though, of course.

    I don't think that's a biblical/Christian theme.

    Ha, don't get me started on the women of the Bible... All I'll say is that since the beginning (Genesis) men have been pointing fingers at and opressing women (like Adam blaming Eve.)
