Yeah kinda like that, but I dont have Generals, i tried the demo and it wouldnt work.
It would be awesome to have a ww2 game that actually "tracked" bullets, which would be extremely realistic, so units could take cover, gain experiance, there would be a limited amount of ammo so you need supply lines to support yuor troops, but if there was a engine that tracked bullets it would probably my comp.

Well its still not the kind of game im looking for, I like the scale of a typical RTS.

I dont really like turn based games, only the total war games. I was looking for something kind of like Dawn of War, just ww2 and alot more realistic, with more units and stuff.

I was wondering if there were any freeware WW2 games , WW2 is my favorite topic in history, and I really want to see a good game made out of it. All the games I've played about World War 2 arent that much in depth, like Empires DotMW, I like the game but they only have one type of tank for each civ, theres none of the armored cars different varaitions of tanks and troops, like only Russia gets snipers and only Germany gets mortars.
I've played codename panzers its ok but not that realistic.

I like highlands in AoK and in Empires DotMW and some water is good like a river dividing players or something.

No, they have a replacable metal thing for a 4th slot but theres nothing there, theres even a spot were it looks like it should go.

Actually my computer is pretty new it has 512mb, 2.6 ghz, 120gb, and i got a new graphics card that fits in my computer and works good. Its a GeForce FX 5500.

I was looking for PCI because I bought an AGP card and then realised that i didnt have an AGP slot, which sucks. But it looks like I should have an AGP card, there are 4 slots to replace the metal thing but only 3 PCI slots, and theres a spot on the motherboard which looks like there should be an AGP slot, but theres nothing there.

Im looking for a new graphics card and I have a PCI slot but whats the difference between PCI and PCI-Express, I keep seeing these different kinds and im not sure which one to get

I liked AoK better because there was no annoying thing were one person would take up 3 poulation slots, and in AoK there an option to get rid of the fog of war.

I only have the demo for the game and I was in the open beta, awesome game i'll probably get it soon though.
Once I do get it I'll play you, but i'll probably lose.

If they wanted to make the civilizations of the free people more appealing you could allow them to get ents and eagles that could be found around the map.

I was wondering if you can connect towers to walls, like if you build a wall next to a tower they connect so a unit on the wall can walk into the tower, and will you be able to put seige weapons on to the walls like a ballista or catapult?

I like the idea of the gate keeper, kind of like the guard units that each civ gets, so it should only be effective on or around the gate. And to take the gate you have to eliminate all enemy units on the gate and have one of your units on top of the gate.

Maybe it could be a specail attack that they can only do every once in a while, or maybe they can hurt their own troops when they trample, or both.

I'm not sure which one it is but it would be cool to have physical damage.

and how will Saruman's discovery of gun powder (was it gun powder?) affect Isengard's ability to wage war?
I think I read somewhere that they can blow up walls in the game, if I can find the post I'll give you a link to it.

About the Ents and Eagles, I think they will only be available in the campaigns, but I dont know if you can put units on them or not. I was really hoping to have Ents and the Eagles in skirmish games, that would be awesome.

I've downloaded all the Codename Panzers demos, it is a good game, awesome graphics especially since I got a new graphics card, and i like stealing AT guns and tanks, but as I said before not to realistic.
I tried the BF 1942 demo but it didnt work, I got to try it again with my new graphics card.
If someone made a realisc game as i said before with units running out of ammo, then you would need supply lines to support them, and infantry could actually stand a chance agianst tanks by boarding them from the side or something.
