    Don't worry about divtis Klaas. Your design requires that you use two background images within #footer. It's simply needed. (y)

    If you applied a gradient to the grey round box there you would have to do it too for the right navbar box. Adding a border in a specially-matching color will make it look like a gradient too maybe. However, I agree that there should be some sort of border around them. :)

    Right side looks cool now Klaas as well as the related information box. I think the latter looks a bit better there on the right. (y) I'd do something about the "Top" link. Maybe move it just above the footer line and float it to the right?

    Now what would be really cool would be page numbers for your "book". :)

    Hi Klaas, great job! Here are a few notices. :)

    I would still go by the news paper/book idea, but without the wooden stick as you currently have it. However, to make the newspaper-style more clear I'd redo the vertical graphic on the right a bit. Maybe you could make it so that it is clear that there are some more "pages"? Just like here.

    I'd also redo the footer a bit. It's always quite hard to find out where the footer actually starts when there is even no horizontal line above it. I'd make good use of the graphics you already use within your header design (kudos for this one by the way!). You'll know how to make it look alright. (y)

    Thirdly I would float the related information tabbox to the right instead of the left. That way there is less emphasis put on the left (which currently is quite a lot considering that there are two big bold headigns aligned to the left). It would also make the trick text more related to the trick title.

    Maybe you also want to style the "Latest Articles" heading a bit differently. IMO it looks a wee bit too much like the article titles below it.

    Lastl I think you should add some sort of gradient to the links under "Featured content". They miss some sort of left and right border, making them look incomplete IMO. Maybe you could make it so that the left and right parts of each link blend into the white background with some cool transparency effect? Dunno. (y) Or you could simply wrap them into a box with rounded corners and add some cool image to the top right just like the "Free Download" link on this site. Dunno. (y)

  17. Mistaken identity

    Yes well I sent out this email to all people and it was, of course, auto-generated. The script I wrote was fine grabbing all names/email combinations, howeverm, when i execuetd the script, which sent out 350 emails, the server timed out, sicne the time requried to execute the php script was greater than the max execution time specified in our server's config files.

    That means that the server stopped executing the script, which grabbed all names from the forumer database and put the name into the message, but the emails got sent nevertheless with the name in them of the last guy when the php got executed still.

    This got fixed now If you receive the next email your name will be alright. (y)
