Okay guys check it now.
-
Fixed the links and redid the footer. What green line do you mean? The background one at the very top?
-
Fede's been moved to the Retired Group for now.
-
I am quite puzzled what your real question is.
Are you just seeking a slick name for your own game engine?
-
I think I have to work on the footer, it doesn't look like the header (that's what I wanted).
-
Nice, finally at 7000.

Hello Roland. I am sorry for that problem.
-
I love this type of humor. I am always at big-boys for my daily humor videos.

Hrm well, if it's their policy and he knew about it then he has no chance.
-
Yeah, I guess so. I took no offense anyway. But thanks Bobbo, I like your looks too, Neo.
-
Nice one. Wow, 3 times the distance of Pluto, now we won't reach that anyway anytime soon.

Hi chaps, I am currently in the process of making myself a personal website to advertise my services on the internet a bit. Please have a look at the first draft of a first possible design and tell me what you think of it.
Thank you.

Jesus you are a genius, Chris. It suddenly works again!
Rep++! Thanks man.

I am on a Geforce PCX 5750.
The weird thing is that all games, graphics, websites, etc. display correctly. Just not videos in WinAmp (got no other media player to try if it is messed up there too). However, updating WinAmp didn't work either.

Fixed.

Oops sorry, lost track of this topic. Will fix the outdated links right away.
-
Haha nice one Shan.
-
There are none as of now.
-
Nice, I will reach 7000 today.
-
Always, mate.
-
Awesome. Please gimme some more pictures when you are in action with her.
-
For me this would be GTA: San Andreas and AoM: The Titans.

Here are a few more tips from me too - Klaas mentioned the core already.
* Use the dodge, smudge and blur tool. If something doesn't blend quite correctly, then the usage of one or more of these tools can make it look alright.
* Usage of photographs. If you are not quite professional and can make header design from scratch without using any 3rd party image, using photographs is the way to go. Simply sort out 3 photographs you like, put each in a layer, play a bit with hue/saturation and contrast (very important!) and transparency. You basically can't do anything wrong there.
* Experimentation. It's really down to that. You have to play with things, really long sometimes. In the end you will make it look alright.
* Bookmarks. Bookmark all sites you come across. I have a folder "Webdesign Inspirations" where you can find basically 200 or 300 layouts. Most are direct links to layout from zen garden or cssvault. But others I stumble across when doing a search for my mom for example I always put there. Before doing any web or graphics design I take 3 or 4 of them, check what I like about them and combine those components to create my own out of it. Same goes for graphic design and photoshop resources.
* Understanding of Color Theory. You should really learn it - it's important to understand what monocromatic, complementary, etc. means.
And last but not least, if you really run out of ideas of what colors you should use, try this tool. It's proven to be one of the handiest tools ever for me. -> http://wellstyled.com/tools/colorscheme2/index-en.html#
Hope that helped.

As I said, I didn't regard it as anything other than a joke.
