  1. Hi, on first run, 0ad automatically fullscreens on my dualscreen setup. My .xinitrc contains: xrandr --output HDMI-0 --mode 1920x1200 --primary xrandr --output DVI-1 --mode 1920x1080 --pos 1920x120I can hover the "known issues" button and then it highlights but not "ok". I can't press anything else. I have to Alt+Ctrl+F2, login, `killall -9 pyrogenesis` It then restores to proper resolution (doesn't change both to 1080p duplicate or anything, like many other engines do). Mainboard Manufacturer: FOXCONN, Product Name: A7GM-S 2.0 CPU AMD Phenom(tm) 9550 Quad-Core Processor Video Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Cape Verde PRO [Radeon HD 7750 / R7 250E] (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])The solution for me is to turn off the second screen using xrand --output DVI-1 --off, starting the game and turning windowed mode on in options. Just letting others know in case it's a common problem. The "doesn't react on the right side of the dualscreen setup" part is weird I can move my mouse there but it doesn't click/cause mouseover effects.
  2. And you too! Thank you for what you did this year
  3. You probably know of the argumentation point "being open makes it easy to find security flaws". Having the source closed won't make cheating impossible, the only thing which I believe effectively can protect the game from cheaters is keeping the critical computations on the server. - I am a non-programmer though and might be misinformed/biased. Great to hear that you're open-source friendly! Interesting plan. But I can imagine that some open-source freaks would add networking to the free software version (might split community maybe?) A game consists of the game engine and gfx and sfx (and levels and text). If you're right that would mean that the non-code part of the game would be open source... I don't see why the argumentation point 'game could be released under other name' frightens so many. You know that the license would have to be the same? Betas and pre-releases are for not-finished games.. Units and game functions and balancing and missions are not important for pre-releases. Pre-releases are intended for the devs to get some feedback, since there's always something they can't see which the players can. (My opinion of course)What will be the content's (media: gfx, sfx, levels etc) license? have you concidered one of the creative commons licenses? I (and many others) discourage the use of non-commercial or non-derivate creative commons licenses.. [i'm sorry if this question is anwered somewhere, I have no time right now to search, ignore if you think that I will find it] Regards, qubodup
