  1. Has anyone had issues updating 0 A.D to Alpha 26: Zhuangzi? I have tried a few forms of updating and it keeps launching as Alpha 23: Ken Wood instead of Zhuangzi. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello, I am on Mac, and I cannot delete any objects, I have tried... - just using delete - Holding alt and pressing delete - Creating a box around the object and pressing alt /and while holding alt - Just pressing alt - Putting my computer in rice - Turning comp. on and off - Using controle, comand, alt, individually and simultaneously, with and without delete - Right clicking - Dragging the object into the black space around map - And consulting a shaman (his name was Ted, Nice guy...) Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

  6. I built the Map a little larger, here are some screenshots! Some of these grabs (without flora / fauna) are during development. Let me know what you think and how it could improve

  8. Will this map be implemented in AD24? Or will this be implemented as a mod? Getting really excited seeing all the beautiful maps from @LordGood!
  9. I have begun building some maps in my spare time, but I am unfamiliar with how to place spots for players to start as well as how to export the map and share it. Could you lead me in the right direction here? I am working on a couple autumn maps currently. Also not sure how to set the map preview.
  10. Yes, and bug fixes.. I would be very willing to make some quite immersive and balanced maps if the editor was more user friendly.

  12. I think bug fixes would change the overall experience of working with the map editor. I recently tried my hand at building a small cit in the editor and when ever starting to type anything into the search-bar I would get double of the letter i typed (Ex: house; hhoouussee) From here back space would not work so I had to select one letter at a time and delete it. I found having the constructions and buildings mixed in with the Units on the map editor also very frustrating. I hope I am speaking for more than just myself when I say, some sort of organizational system to help guide users to find exactly what they are looking for would be much appreciated! This goes for nature as well, I would personally like to see nature as a completely different panel! Totally separate the two. Another tool I did not understand; and please absolutely correct me if I am at all wrong, was the landscape brush strength tool. It did not seem to change what It did at 4% to 80%. I was hoping this tool I could use to really blend biomes together and make some really exciting fields. An off the wall Idea I had was a horizon terraform view map editor. This would look much like a flat photoshop "Curves" panel. As you manipulate the curves on this panel you would see the horizon elevation change with the curves. I think this would be great to create base set ups for a more interesting and realistic map. Change the horizon on a radial dial to get different angles for the map. Side note I found some bugs in the game performance and petra bot..but unsure where to actually mention those (horses getting stuck in walls...siege getting trapped in gates)
  13. Hello, For years I have been looking for an RTS that works with my mac computer, and this is EXACTLY what I have been looking for. Love the game, and can see it expand tremendously. I have a couple far out ideas I would love to hear discussion about. - Flora and Fauna surrounding waterbeds - Better Balance of the Difficulty sys. - Falling trees animation - Buildings can change depending on the age (Town, City, so forth) - Taller Palaces (I want to be scared when I see a Palace not get confused with another building) - Feeding grounds for live stock to keep them from roaming away - Personal Civilization where you can customize the look of your soldiers and Hero, and style of your buildings. - More team color options - Road formation between two adjacent buildings in a determined length - Variety of Statues for different groups so the same one isn't being built. - Bridges - Hero's have a glow to them to better define them on the battle field I have many more topics to discuss but These should be a good starting point.
