I got it downloaded in my files but I can't seem to get it into the dl mods on the game

The best RTS I ever played, and it even even beats Northgard which I love,and I love the idea of using food to train warriours rather than using food to feed whining villagers. OAD is so historically accurate,and I love the detail in the units/buildings,and the lands are breathtaking,and let's not forget the music,as a music lover {folk,black metal,dark celtic,norse etc}the music is just amazing beautiful/ambient. TY again for making my dream game ! Much love !

Hi all, my name is Astrid,and I live in Bergen,Norway. I enjoy reenactments, {Yes I participate} medieval history, HEMA,martial arts {been practicing since 7}, the dark ages,and Vikings I been gaming since I was a child,and always loved RTS games {3 things to do in Norway as a girl if you hate the mall,skii,drink or game heh} I choose the third and add nature/history to substitute for the first two lol My rl name is Astrid and my nickname ? Well I have several nicknames given to me by friends/strangers from Rapunzel to Lady Godiva to Idun to Sif because I have straight golden blonde hair that sweeps my ankles. I don't really fancy being called these nicknames,and I wear my hair up as much as I could when going in public {mind my English lol} I prefer to be called Astrid over any nickname. My husband introduced me to OAD after he got sick of AOE,and wanted a game similar,and yes he is a player also heh This game is beautiful,and fun,and I am looking forward to the release. At the moment we are having a lot of fun,and it's wonderful how playable it is just being in alpha. If you forget about the words "missing features" you can really have a nice match going. I talked enough heh Great game !

Is there a game I can play just to test my damage of hack/pierce and crush ? I want to be able to attack my enemies without them attacking back. I want to test what classes are strong/weak against other classes

I would love to be able to zoom in on our units/soldiers/ more than we are zooming now. It would make fights more exciting/accurate,and targeting would be easier plus we can look at how beautiful the graphics are. I never noticed how amazing the units look with their faces/facial expression,muscles {heh},and armour. Even our heros look historical and beautiful in their shining armour and wielding shiny weapons. If we can zoom in on them it would be art to look at,and appreciate. I know we can zoom now but what about zooming like total war where we can see a movie while fighting ?

I decided to play the Greeks,and built a stone wall to be safe from the kushites once I got to phase 2. Everything was great,i started a massive farm,produced a lot of food,and had a great growing economy including a great army. So I am inside my safe haven until the kushites move next door,and start attacking me. I assumed I was safe until they started hitting my walls {I thought you needed siege weapons to destroy stone walls} and taking points off. I started garrisoning infantry,and had a great defense until the Kush's started sticking their spears through my walls,and killing my army. So I decide to deploy more infantry with healers to rebuild the wall but I got speared,and died. Isn't the wall supposed to be secure ? Is this a bug ? I wouldn't think a spear can crush through stone walls. This game is beautiful,and I love it, but the bugs ruin the fun.

I am from Bergen/ Norway In a very remote area on the fjords heh I wonder if that effects my lag also. But as everyone says it is from the single thread so I am sure once it is fixed I won't have any problems here in Viking land heh Ty for the help also

That is great to hear it just isn't me heh This game will be epic once that problem is fixed because this game is amazing and fun Ty for the replies,and help. I noticed my lag started the minute I trained 6 elephants to build my houses.

Who cares ? What would be the reason ? I play this game to have fun,and not to care about how many hours someone else plays over me.

In the beginning of my scenario I have no lag, but once I start building more units,buildings I get major lag. I have a new laptop that is fast/state of the art,and it runs games likes "cossacks 3,Northgard,Rimworld,Strongshold {yes thereshould be major lag with how many units/spam on the screen} and I get no lag whatsever, even on the most beautiful graphics/high setting. I love this game,and I see it becoming a master piece once released hence it is already amazing with it's beautiful graphics,historical accuracy,and fun. It is just one fun game ! :d I hope this can be fixed
