  1. Yeah well, they got my shipment details and I got no complains from them so I guess "my" part was ok I've sent an email to ancient warfare magazine several minutes ago, I hope they could solve this issue.

  4. I know it's free and all and I should not complain , but it's the 25th here in Israel and I still haven't received the Ancient Warfare magazine. what should I do ?

  8. I've seen a screenshots months ago that you showed a "transportation bout" with several warriors in. I would like to suggest you to stick to more realistic graphics. I mean the bouts should be much bigger, and the heads of the warriors smaller.

  10. twice as fast * 2 man = 4 as fast or if it's too much, 150% as fast (of those 2 man) could do the trick. CheeZy : I figured out it's just a matter of balance , trial and error. nothing you can't handle. and the tree animation falling down, it's a simple one... I'm not close to being a programmer and this math scares the @#$% out of me, but I understand that THIS (man radius) is not SO complicated as there are things FAR harder then this. P.S from your reply I understand that you also notice that the roman solders in the back fighting air...same problem. nothing you can't handle.
  11. after I saw the video release which was great I want to make a comment and ask a question it seems that the tree chopper standing to far away from the tree, could you make him closer ? and how it's gonna work , will it be realistic like in AOE that you need to cut the tree that he would fall down first and then "extract" wood from it , or will it be like in warcraft that you can "extract" wood from it while it still standing up ? P.S just came up with an idea. what if you choose 2 workers to chop trees, wouldn't it be great that in this cease (with 2 workers) they had a saw (after upgrade) , instead of an axe and could work twice as fast ? just a thought.

  13. I'd suggest that is you select 5 archers and 5 warriors and make them stand in some formation then the archers will automatically go behind the warriors
  14. I have a question about units graphics I've notice that the faces of the units are textured which is not realistic at all will you be making mesh faces ? (you know, were the nose is not "drawn" but is an actual mesh, like the hands and legs).
  15. are there any new developers staff members in the past weeks ? (or people who ask to join the developers staff). if so - were they came from ?
  16. I understand that 0 A.D is a full 3d game (units, buildings and map) 1. will there be zoom in/out in game ? 2. can the view be rotated in game ?

I am making publicity for those games (0 A.D and LA) and try to attract some member who can help. but it doesn't count as working on the game does it ? well - ideas are free. and ideas you need (I hope) in a few months, when I will have free time I really hope to actually help making the game but I don't have much of free time now, and I need to practice my blender3d skills
  18. that's a shame...this economy still is already widely used in most RTS games, and it's very simple....and not letting our thought and imagination to work on new things. I don't want it to be a clone of AOK...I want it to be really unique.

I think we should invent a new style Mass style the building will be cheaper and faster to make , this will enable the economy grow faster. you will need masses of building in order to create a great army , I'm talking about 1000-5000 man (in AOK it was 250 max if I recall). but the economy style will be like in settlers only much faster and in much bigger scale. and you would be able to start building even in you don't have all the resources yet what do you think about my idea ? after all we can't duplicate AOE in every way...we should create a very different game
  20. but are the alliance are "fixed" in the start of each map, or can you change them ? or let's say u are allied with comp1 and he is asking for help several times, and you refuse to help him, would he be smart enough to break the alliance ?

I know this game will have an unique economical style of play BUT to which style it will be similar ? in AOE you had wood,stone,gold,food but when you cut strees you didn't have to make them fit to build like it was in Settlers. in settlers the economical style of play was remarkable you needed to grow wheat fields and water to feed the pigs and butcher (you needed a butcher to) them for food in order to give the miners food to work, and then make gold/iron/stone... and with iron you produce swords, shield with wheat and water you breed horses and you make riders... how is the economy work in 0 A.D ?
