  1. I was Jagwire for along time. (Roughly 1980 was the start) Then all the stuff for "Jagwire" started comeing out. So I had to change things up a bit. Jag are the intials of my name, wire because I was wired to the Baby Net back then. I don't even remember all the 'handles' I used until I stuck with privateer. I now tend to stay with that and add GWX if needed.
  2. FRAPS is like $37 U.S. bucks but you get lifetime updates. I am a registered user of FRAPS.
  3. It's a few of the .dae files that will not show in Deep X I can see the verts listed but nothing in the view window. I have several of the Collada plug-ins for Max. 3.04C and 3.05C Which should I use? I found the problem with being unable to view some .dae files in Deep X Seems Deep X does not like the files created by the FBX Exporter in Max? It maybe that my version is to old.
  4. I've got the download and looked at some of the models. Is there an official plug-in for Max that you use? Some models do not display in Deep X at the moment and I haven't taken the time to really look into this.
  5. Regards Erik, Although I have worked mostly with SH Games for the last 5 years or so? I've toyed around with Age of Empires and such. I've also written an extracter for GR2 files that converts them to .obj file format. It was aimed at SH5 but works for many Games that use Granny files. I also do some C++ and Lua programming. And if you are aware of Ubantu Ultimate Edition by TheeMahn? He is a personnal friend and lives about 9 miles from me. I started modding or codeing in the 80's on a CoCo 128! I wrote a CoCo 128 version of Risk back then. In the mid 90's I opened the first ISP in my area with a friend. I was the techy Guy, My Friend was the Money Man. We hosted and modded Quake Servers back then. Tsavo was the mod we ran for Quake 1. After we sold that business I modded later versions of Quake for awhile. But as I had been interested in German U-Boots? I played with early versions of Silent Hunter before version 3. In 2006 I once again started modding Silent Hunter 3 on my own and found SubSim's forums. Several things I was doing grabbed The Grey Wolves attention and I was soon asked to join as a Dev. I still consider myself a Grey Wolf but with no Team? I feel I need to find a Pack to run with. I see your work here as a great oppertunity to join something that is much more then a whim! I work on my system 4 or more hours a day during the weekdays. 10 to 18 hours a day on weekends. One image I can post real quick is the MG34 I did for SH series of Games.
  6. I use privateer as it kind of fits my work in real life. I'm self employed in the construction business and will work for the highest bidder. As this led to takeing business away from others? I started calling my employees the Privateer Crew. Thus privateer.
  7. Hi everyone. I go by privateer but my name is Jeff. I stumbled across a link to this site at the SubSim.com forums. I must say I am impressed with the dedication put into this project! As I have been looking around for a new area to place my modding interests, I've decided that I'll place an application to do some 3D work. As it will take a few days to get a proper presentation as to my skills? Please feel free to examine some of my work at YouTube. My YouTube stuff You can also see my last involvement in a World Class Team here. Regards, privateer
