Is it possible to give an unit a boat attribute and a soldier attribute,
for the purpose of flying units would this work?
I know that a possible problem would be not being able to cross over from water -> land and visa versa.

1. Osiris is the lord of the dead, for his god power maybe he can make units who were dead alive again, i know this would be hard to code in. Maybe just bring "10" units "back to life". (AKA: spawn 10 ahk mummy's) Depending on how strong those units are in the game, of course.

comp3820, i've noticed the bug you mentioned with the viewable area in one of my own maps, there is a trick, it'll take a tiny bit of time but hopefully it'll fix your problem.
First use a Thin brush to paint just inside the perimeter of the map, be sure to use a thin brush.
Save (as a new file.)
open the XML file, find the line near the top that says something similar to [i]circular map="true" a[/i]nd remove it (but remember the line (save a copy of THAT line only and its position in the file)
Now, open up your map again and make a SHARP drop to ocean for everything just outside of the line you painted.
also clean up any stray buildings / trees that somehow end up there o.O
Save
Go back to the XML file and add the line you remove.
Test and have fun!I hope that fixes your problem.
Remember: you can upload your map to 0ad.me, and nobody has to register to DOWNLOAD maps. (There is no waiting , but mods are high bandwidth so we require registration for those)

Can i just make a point, i tried to run the game on a system incompatible with GLSL, i got a nice message and the game looked like someone stretched the textures in every direction.
If anyone can confirm this behaviour, you can and should remove support for non-glsl compatible systems.
Just my 2 cents.

It would need some sort of fall back mechanism to the offline. but isn't that what version updates are for as well? I agree it's a nice idea though.

Hey, will the game have bigger maps, because i eventually want to create a WORLD MAP. which would be awesome
Also, in atlas could we have the option to make a circular map, its annoying to always have to go into the XML file to change stuff .

A beautiful map with a running river on the side, the river is one of the ways to get the opponent in a position they can not defend. Because it is so close to their base, but this disadvantage is persistent for both teams.. They need a strong Navy and military to win.
Linux: /usr/share/0ad/mods/public/maps/scenarios
Mac: similar to above
Windows: %appdata%\0ad\cache\mods\public\maps\scenarios (copy and paste that into the Explorer address bar).
