We dont need a huge advanced website with neat design and all that, we want simply 2 PHP baced features:A easy News system so we can post Interviews, news and articles!A system that makes us able to upload HLTV (Half Life television) demoes from my computer to the Internet / Our server.It would have these boxes we would fill in when uploading:Opponent;Match Result;Type of Match(Cup, pcw, League);Size;Uploaded by;And then you know the "Browse" button so we can easily upload the demoAnyone here wants to make that?You'll get plenty of ads on the page, on IRC and stuff like that, you'll get "honor" and all that, if you have a IRC channel you will get idlers and all that.We can also discuss money and and other sorts of ... payment Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Klaas Posted January 6, 2005 Share Posted January 6, 2005 Well go to php, scripts and programsThen you should look in the News Publishing, Form Processors and (probably, maybe unlikely) File Manipulation categories.When choosing a script look for the following:Is mysql needed (don't choose scripts that require mysql if you don't have mysql on your server)Is the required php version equivalent or lower than the one on your serverDo you have to pay for it, is it a trial (you should choose free open source scripts, GPL license or something, tend to avoid 'freeware' since those are usually badly programmed, experienced programmers will use the GPL license or something in that nature)Be sure to check the ratings (don't get those that are rated low, but a high rating doesn't always mean quality)Be sure to check out the site of the script/developers first; if it seems to be a popular script it will most likely suit your needs.
