Hamachi problem

I'm trying to join the room of a friend, we are using the hamachi, when I try to join the message appears "connect to server" and then the "loading server data" or something similar in this part the game pulls me from the room

Do you have the same mods ? Are your ports properly forwarded ?

But most importantly why do you use Hamachi when you could just use direct IP, or even better the game lobby ?
