Hi, i have similar issue.

I have the file and everything, and i've created a shortcut to it. But when i click on it to open the game, It does the 'loading installer" thing, and then it says that i need to uninstall this version and install the new one. Well, i did that. And then after all that, i clicked the same shortcut, and the exact same thing happened.

What seems to me, is that my shortcut is the shortcut to the game setup program. So when i click on it, it acts like im trying to set the game up again.

But the thing is, thats the only file related to 0 A.D. on my computer. That i could find anyways. Theres no "launch game" file to click on, just the setup.

idk if im missing something, but this sorta seems to me that i need to reinstall the game whenever i wanna play it.

Anyone know how to help or where to look for a "launch game" file instead of a "set up"  file?

If you really can't find it using the start menu you can find it via the control panel.

Go into add/remove software

Right Click on the colums

Click on others.

Tick Location.

Go back to the list and look for 0ad
