Hi!

I'm under archlinux. I just installed 0ad using pacman.

When I run 0ad I get this error :

$ 0ad
/usr/bin/pyrogenesis: error while loading shared libraries: libboost_filesystem.so.1.61.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

It seems there I have a newer version of the library :

$ locate libboost_filesystem
/usr/lib/libboost_filesystem.a
/usr/lib/libboost_filesystem.so
/usr/lib/libboost_filesystem.so.1.62.0

How can I get the game working?

By reporting packaging bugs in the right place so that it gets fixed for everyone instead of using workarounds and not reporting anything in a place that will get that fixed. Also reading relevant discussions like [1] and following the advice therein which would take you to [2].

While you're at it you should probably also file a report about fixing SpiderMonkey issues with GCC6 [3][4] (but then again all possibly affected packagers should be notified of that). Though whoever does that should take care to point out that only those flags should be added and no other changes to them should occur (given that the commit happened after the SpiderMonkey 38 upgrade).
