basildazz
The latest package update on Linux Mint 17 KDE has removed the 0AD application. Trying to reinstall provides an error regarding version numbers of data and application that are not compatible. Don't know whether this should be here or over at the Mint Forums and I also do not know if this is limited to my own system. Kind Regards, Terry
sphyrth
Mint 17.x has the Ubuntu 14 something while Mint 18's base is Ubuntu 16 something. Could that have contributed to the conflict?
Loki1950
Try using the ppa version instead of the default one from the repo Have no issues and I'm using Mint 18.0 myself. Enjoy the Choice
basildazz
Possibly as Mint 18 KDE has just got released this month so there may be a repo inconsistancy on Mint 17. I would like to upgrade but AMD proprietery GFX drivers have been deprecated and the open source aren't at an identical level of performance just yet ( I have dual boot Kubuntu 16.04 ). So 0AD is running on Mint 18 and also a independent repo, brilliant, thanks., I'll try one of these.
