My Xubuntu PC is telling me:

Changes for 0ad versions:
Installed version: 0.0.15-0ubuntu1~13.10~wfg2
Available version: 0.0.16-0ubuntu1~13.10~wfg1

This update does not come from a source that supports changelogs.

that there is a version 16 of 0AD available. So I went to the web site to read all about it and ...

There's nothing on the home page and nothing (that I can immediately spot) on the forum. I'm confused.

Why aren't you shouting about it on the home page? Why can I not see a "Are we ready to release v16?" type thread on the forum?

Would it be best to put something on the home page before release, or have I misunderstood the Linux update message?

Because our announcement manager suddenly went offline yesterday evening, I thought he would be back, but apparently not.

Apart from the announcement (and the os x packages), the release is ready though.

So Alpha 16 is online but no announcement, And i keep checking the timeline what says there still 4 active tickets lol

Those are OS X tickets, it's a bit of a strange release. The OS X version will be released a bit later, so those tickets are still A16. But we decided to just release it, so we can continue working on the next version.

I uninstalled 0A.D. and re-installed it and it runs v16. I think I mucked up the update myself.
