Donner
I was wondering if day and night cycles would be implemented in future Alphas, possibly with effects to the line of sight of units.
raymond
Same like http://www.wildfireg...7&st=0&p=231847I think weather, in general, would be nice. It should be in options to deactivate it (maybe performance problems if it is always activated). Maybe directly while starting a game. Maybe directly while starting a game.Lots of the talk in that forum thread is about optional day and night cycles. If it ever gets implemented, I wonder if it will be a setting toggled for each game (like the population cap) or as a graphics setting preference. If applied individually, players who turn off the day/night cycle off will have an advantage over players who keep it on (that is, if night affects the line of sight of units). It would be cool to have "moving shadows" (shadows that vary throughout the day, like in the real world).
raymond
If players have an advantage/disadvantage it must be in the options while starting a game, not individually for each player.
feneur
If e.g. a day/night cycle is included it will definitely be something that's set per map/match rather than per player, so no need to be worried about that
memmaker650
I support add this option to the game, and also the climate changes.
