Mythos_Ruler
Need some AO maps for these guys.
Enrique
Done. I've commited the .daes with the new UV coordinates for AO and the AO textures in skins/gaia/ao But I didn't change the material on the .xml actors because I don't know how to add a specific AO map to one of the two variations that appear on the actor. The daes and AO textures are for geo_mineral_01, geo_mineral_02 and geo_stonemine_large
Gen.Kenobi
This reminds me that I need to keep working on doing some more rocks...@Enrique: take a look how I did it here, you just need to add stuff inside the <variant > tags:http://trac.wildfire...adlands_new.xmlEDIT: I've also created in the past a new material for all rocks,as you can see in the file
Enrique
Thanks Daniel! I'll try to update the actors following that example. My question about the material rock_bump_spec_ao_test.xml : Do I need a normal map in order to work? I think that some of the slabs textures do not have normal maps, that's why I was going to use just specular and ao without bump. But If the material doesn't require the normal map, I'll use that material.
Gen.Kenobi
Well, that was a full material - with bump(parallax), spec, ao, ect.You know, parallax maps aren't that hard to do, but yeah, it'll need normal maps. Maybe it could work without them, but the engine seens to bug when you are supposed to have a material you don't have... hehehehe
Mythos_Ruler
Look here to see what I did to add the textures to the actors. First, I used the Actor Editor to do one, then I opened the one I did and all the others in Notepad++ and copy-pasta'd from the one I did in Actor Editor.http://trac.wildfiregames.com/changeset/13133
