pyrokinetiq
I'm on my System 76 Gazelle (i7 w. intel hd 4k integrated graphics) and I get broken black boxes all over the terrain, they seem to partially disappear when I disable shadows, but they're still there, even with all the fancy graphical stuff disabled:
myconid
Just from looking at the screenshot I can tell this looks like a driver bug. Perhaps there's a more recent driver version you can try? Also, if possible, could you give the game a go under a different OS and report back if it works? fabio
You may want to try my PPA, see my signature (packages for 12.04 are currently unavailable due to mesa build problems, but they are working for 12.10).
historic_bruno
More info would help, can you attach system_info.txt from the game's log directory?

I had the same problem for a while, though i'm using an i5 processor and Windows 7, but since Alpha 12 i didn't have any problems.

Pedro Falcão
Try using the drivers in Fabio's signature, above. I can't help you much, since my pcs only run windows, but if Fabio's drivers don't work, you could ask someone with more experience on these matters in Wildfire's developers IRC chat: http://webchat.quakenet.org/ (Channel: #0ad-dev)
