Multiplayer connection issue in 0 A.D. after moving to Nepal

I’m facing a multiplayer issue where I can only join a few games, and sometimes only as an observer. There’s no clear pattern or error message explaining why.

 

I had no problems while I was in Bangkok, but after traveling to Nepal, this issue started. A friend from Vietnam is experiencing something similar.

 

I contacted my internet provider, but that didn’t help. This seems like a technical/network issue related to the game.

 

Has anyone else faced this? Any fixes or insights would be appreciated.

Hi @razieve, this is a common issue among some players. The most common solutions are:

1. Enabling UPnP on your router.
2. Setting up port forwarding for UDP port 20595.
3. Disabling the router’s/operating system firewall.
4. Using a VPN.

Note: in some cases, it may be necessary to restart the router for the changes to take effect properly.
