Ceasefire

So I was just thinking..some people aren't quick builders and don't have the know-how on how to quickly build an empire. I think there should be a function that can be toggled on and off that gives players a 5 minute time period at the beginning of the game to just work on stabilizing a economy. This phase disables building military units and or buildings. I think it would be good for new RTS players to do so they can breathe for a little before chaos ensues The server host could even have the option of putting these phases throughout the game! A negative effect these could have is it would extend game time.

We plan to have a "ceasefire" (I'm too lazy to look up the actual name) option that prevents enemies from entering your territory for some arbitrary amount of time. This would be the "no rush" option rooks and newbs tend to enjoy.

I'm renaming this topic to "Ceasefire" as "phases" is the word we use for what Age of Empires calls ages (And Michael, the word used in the Design Document is "rush timer".)
