Spring RTS Engine

I've played with its unit models a bit :P. Never really played its games, though. Its engine design seems less advanced than 0 A.D.'s in various ways (e.g. it appears to rely on the old-fashioned 2D approach of buildings being aligned to grid squares (which makes environments look more artificial), and it seems to have a monolithic simulation architecture rather than being modular and flexible and scripted) so I think it's good that we're designing our own, though they currently have the significant advantage of actually having playable games (y)
