There is a story of Julaibib:
From my understanding he was given an ugly name, appearance are that of dwarfed unsightly, his ancestor lineage was unknown.
He was approached by our prophet and asked why he hadn't married yet. His reply was "who would marry me?" He had no family, no money, no beauty.
"I am worthless" but in reply he was not at the sight of our Creator. So when opportunity arrive our prophet ask a parent to marry their daughter.
The man was overjoyed but upon hearing it was for Julaibib, he consulted his wife and yet they want to reject but the daughter decide to go with the marriage.
it was only for a few days since they married but a war was happening, he decided to join the war... 
When it was over, our prophet asked for missing people, in reply there was missing this and that.
And so he still looked and asked again where others would forget, "Where is Julaibib? Go look for him"
When they found his body against 7.
Our prophet said: قَتَلَ سَبْعَةً وَقَتَلُوهُ هَذَا مِنِّي وَأَنَا مِنْهُ، هَذَا مِنِّي وَأَنَا مِنْهُ، هذا مني وأنا منه
And so he buried him with his own hand.

Addendum:
- He is to me, someone who does not give up.
- Whose heart knows their value.
- Capable to be able to fight outnumbered.
- Strong faith.

My stance on others to this day: your appearance/wealth/status does not matter to me its your faith that I judge to be with.
I'll respect you as human, treat you the same way I treat others without a care like a brother at arms.
We all have problems to tackle with in various forms.
Nonetheless, I'm looking forward to have arm wrestle with Julaibib in the heaven.
