Multiplayer deletes selection box ui

I joined single player game first, on fresh install of 0 A.D. everything works as normal.

then join a multiplayer game. BOOM you cannot drag selection box to select units. Go back to single player BOOM its gone you can't even select in single player no more. restart the game. doesn't fix. only fresh install fixes it. didn't change any settings or nothing. Idk maybe its an issue with sdl3 or sdl2 compatibility as i have both installed.

That's caused by arch linux forcing you to use an experimental package called sdl2 compat
