Banoffee
What would be cool, is if like, when your unit has only say 10 hit points left he collapses and you have stretcher bearers going around picking them up and then taking them to a hospital tent where they slowly heal and then return back to the battle. But there is like a 70% percent chance of the unit dying before he heals. Would be a little more realisiticMight be a bit late to incorperate this, but maybe Part 2? Mythos_Ruler
Hmmm... I wouldn't go that far in realism (stretcher bearers and such). But perhaps healers/priests could be required to set up a hospital tent near the wounded in order to use his/her healing ability.
MythicRuler
Lets not complicate things too much. Whereas one idea may sound good, putting it together with a hundred other features that sound good would make the game far to complex with micro managament returning in different forms of learning to control every single feature. Silver
I've always liked how it was handled in the Age of Empires series. A priest/monk/surgeon. While not fighting, units are healed directly (First 2 in the series) or they are healed by a building built by surgeon when standing close enough. feneur
I agree. It's not very nice when you have to actually tell them to heal each time. I remember having trouble with that in the Empire Earth series, it's like if you'd have to tell the soldiers to attack an enemy =)
Mythos_Ruler
Well, if there were fewer units (they were grouped into battalions) forcing you to task them to attack the enemy wouldn't be a problem. But I do like AOK's monks. Those guys rocked.
