  1. hi all

If I recall right, you can use python, xml or/and mod to make some custome scenarios.

But am not sure if I must have both or only one of them, but who?? Python or XML ??

    So who can help??

    Thanks for all help!

  2. hi all

Am running the windows xp home in my language - norwegian.

and that is most BAD :banger::) things I ever have experiance :banger:;) almost every day is a problem with it.

Who ever it's trying to fix it - from novice to exspert - they can't fix it at all - for after some time the problems is coming back, with or with out my installing or uninstalling some programs or otherwisse.

But when am running 2kp or server program no problem at all - like xp, and am paying xp that stupid xp.

So any idea what it's going on with the xp :banger::P

  3. hi.

    Thanks. :(

Why is it unrealistic ?? :)

Is it to much data flowing forward and back ?? :D

When you now understand my idea of simulation of real time, and if I take out servers and put in to a program to have a control, is that better ?? ;)B)

So basicly am doom, what ever I think out ??

I was really going for more realistic game, inkl. the time, travel. So how many years between each link ?? 100 years or 250 years or 500 years or 1000 years (is that a mellenium ?? (1000 years)).

  4. Ok, you asking a very good question.

Let me try to tell what I thinking.

I try to find a way to simulation a real time from the real world, in to the game world.

I have one or two server (The "Master server") who have all data from all servers am using to simulation the real time.

The character is starting or login to the online game by "new game".

That "New game", the time will stand still, and all around the environment will not change.

And let say after 3h the character will be send over to new server with new time and environment, and on this server every thing change in this 3h - times. and so on. The world are beginning from genesis and beyond genesis to 99 999 billions A.D. So throughout all this servers you can se the changes and time moving forward. The time every server have before you be send to new one, can increase to 1 day or so, to find a balance am trying to simulation. So you see way I must use a virtual network to build all this servers to simulation the real world time.

This 16 millions addresses is that for each network??

Virtual network, will this use fewer addresses ??

I hope this can give you some answer, to help me.

  5. Thanks for all help.

I was forgetting about the NTP, so thanks for remember me about that.

So if I use IP range with IPv6 and VMware (look away from the programs limitations), then can I have unlimited of servers then??

Or do I must build more then one virtual network??

  6. Hi all.

Am working with an idea how to simulation the "time", in game. If I make virtual network and in that network have 9999 thousands of servers. The idea is like this; the first server is for "master server", and that will register all data from all server that is connected. The second server is for "new game", and that will not change at all. The third server is for "first 24h", and that will not change at all, but that change you will experience is when you change server after 24h. Every server has it's own time and changes. So my question is: in virtual network, to simulation the real time, up to the closest real time I can. How many server can I have in one virtual network??

Can I have unlimited of servers in one virtual network??

    Any thought.

    Thanks for all help.

  7. Hi all.

Is there some one who know what the "Anivision" IS ??

    Edit; sry I found it.

    AniVision

AniVision began operations as a division of Thermo Electron providing simulation-based training systems software to the U.S. government. Between 1996 and 1999 AniVision began to develop commercial applications of these technologies, initially focusing on sports. In October 1999 AniVision management worked with Thermo Electron and Hickory Venture Capital Corporation to spin-off AniVision from Thermo Electron to allow the Company to bring its patented commercial products to market.

  8. Hi all.

Do you see what say on the monitor when you got so high resolution?? B)

I got 1024x768 to read what text is on monitor :S but I can go up to 2048x1536, and then I can't read what is on monitor. :P
