  1. So it's been a while since I last posted here. But I've been working lots on DerpHammer and am very close to releasing the first version! That said, I've run into a weird issue: If i try to play a game on a random map, the game crashes. The error messenger also crashes so I don't know what the problem is. However, if i play on a skirmish map first and then switch to a random map, everything works perfectly. Any idea what could be the reason for this?

  3. so I don't know what I did, but whenever I open the scenario editor I now get this error on eternal repeat. anyone know what might be the cause of this?

  5. Other Question: would it be possible to change a building if it is captured by another faction? say an empire building is captured by goblins and now it is decorated with goblin totems and stuff

  9. Oh wow. Thank you very much. I've been wondering how to make my buildings not hover in the air. I'll try this tomorrow.
  10. The other props work perfectly. I copied those over from another model I had previously made. But any new prop points I add, be it adding them or copying existing ones, aren't recognized. The ship has no animations whatsoever, it only has a skeleton for the sake of adding props.

  14. So I'm trying to add new prop points to a model but for some reason 0ad won't recognize them. I've done this before and it woked so I don't know where the issue lies. dh_ship.xml

  16. Just as a heads up, my exams are coming up so work on DerpHammer will go on a break until July.
  17. And here are the horses, though they still need barding.
  18. I finally made my own wolf and dog models. Horses should be next.
  19. Those are just regular humans, although it would also work perfectly for dwarfs. Personally I plan to give minecart chariots to my dwarfs in DerpHammer.
  20. I plan on staying low on polygons, since I'm new to 3D modelling and this allows me to make faster progress. The low poly aesthethic also has a certain charm to it. The horse models are just placeholder, I'm using the regular 0ad horses until I have made my own. Those will then get barding.
  21. Two horses is how it is in warhammer though. Granted, my version looks a bit bigger.
  22. And with that, the various units are now implemented. I still need to fine tune their stats and all that of course, but otherwise the Free Empire is now technically a working faction.
