  1. Yes they are! What about orcs in the return of the king putting stakes in the road to prevent the Rohirrim crossing? Or filling trenches with fire? Or Saruman and his hoses of liquid fire in orthanc? Or the Great Eye having rivers of lava running from Ethel Duin (Mt. Doom) to circle Barad Dur like a moat? Or Durin's dwarves making a bridge that if any attempted to cross in more than single file, they would surely plumet into an abyss of immesurable depth?

And to Adam: "Also there is a "leader" feature that allows you to pick a leader for your civilization before you start the game. Each civ has three different leader possibilities. So for instance, the First Age Noldor can choose from Fingolfin, Fingon, and Turgon."

Why not Feanor? He was the greatest leader of his time and was driven by a power stronger than any other.

  2. "They swore an oath which none shall take, and none shall break, calling the everlasting darkness upoun them if they kept it not..."

What about that? How should that oath effect first age play for the noldor? Should they get a disadvantage if they do not have all three Silmarils?

  3. I think that they made Treebeard (and all the ents) too flexable, because in the book, it says that the ents took long strides with very little bending of the knees. If you watch the Two Towers, you'll see that if real wood was put through the strain of their knees, it would break.

    :)

  4. I,ve found the size of Treebeard!

(quote) "They found that they were looking at a most extraordinary face. It belonged to a large man like, almost troll like creature, at least 14 feet high, very sturdy, with a tall head and hardly any neck."

Now all I need to do is find the hight relation of oak trees (treebeard) to other kinds of trees (other ents)

    :P:)
