  1. I like many different kinds of IM services but, one thing that makes things so much easier is a program called "Trillion". I love this program. Basically what it does is combines all of your favorite IM programs into one box, list, etc. so that things are easier to maintain/ keep track of. I use MSN, AIM, MIRC, YAHOO, ICQ, and others. What I think makes a "Good" IM service is 1. It works, 2. It’s easy to use, and last but not least 3. It’s got to have a cool looking interface. I really suggest you guys check this program out. Here is the link:

Some other things I like about it is that if you for example have 5 different IM services you don’t have to sign on 5 times!! And if you leave the computer you don’t have to set your self “Away” 5 different times!! Also, if you want to stay organized its better if you have one list of buddies and not 5. One more thing you can do with trillion is you can download skins. The IM services that trillion support are only 5, Aim, Msn, Mirc, Icq, and Yahoo. Thank you for you time.

  2. Both !! I think that even though there are not as many things to "play" with when it comes to hardware compared to software, I really like both just because I like every aspect of computers. Computers are just so fascinating to me. Yet, I think that actually writing software (programming) seems so much harder than anything that I have ever done because it is 1. Very time consuming, 2. Takes skill, 3. You really need to know what you are doing. I feel that this is the same when it comes to hardware because when you deal with hardware you have to be careful not to harm the board with static electricity, and other things but that’s just an example. Comparing it to software you just need to know how to use it, with programming you need to know how to make it/create it. BTW I commend all of you programmers because I don’t think you guys get enough credit. So keep up the good work!! :P:P Hardware is nothing without software. ;)

  3. On may 1st 1964 at four o'clock in the morning, the first version of BASIC (Beginners All-purpose Symbolic Instruction Code) interpreter successfully executed a small script.

while Profs. John Kemeny and Thomas Kurtz fell asleep, two unknown students at dartmouth college did the night shift and made history.

even though being regarded a step backwards and a threat to all people trying to learn programming due to its simplicity, BASIC soon turned to be a common programming language.

MSDOS and Windows still go back to BASIC, and Bill Gates did actually earn his first $$ by selling oem BASIC computers from his garage...

    Happy Birthday BASIC!!!

    :)
