  1. The map size is deceiving. If you're familiar with AoM:TT, look at this reference screenshot. The titan has not been resized at all and in the game, titans are massive units. The map size is 110x110 but the gameplay didn't seem cramped at all. Most objects to make the tower were enlarged and I don't believe any were shrunk so the tower is huge - not your normal AoM elevation scale.

This isn't a supremacy map so you don't need land and an army. It's an rpg/puzzle scenario.

I finally finished the scenario and it took me a little more than an hour and a half. But of course I was slowed down by the stunning map design. :) Vandy said it should take 45 minutes to 90.

  2. I've heard a little about that and it sounds pretty cool. Graphics look ace. :)

Somehow or another, Sword of the New World is connected to HellGate: London which I would really recommend checking out - especially if you're the diablo games as it is by many of the original designers after they left Blizzard North. Unfortunately, it is not freeware. However, Flagship (makers of HGL) do have a freeware MMO called Mythos. The game does not match the quality of HGL but it's free and its whole purpose was to serve as a multiplayer test for HellGate London. Looks like it's still in the beta phrase but you can sign up here.

  3. Access Blocked

If you believe you have reached this error page erroneously, please complete the form below. To aid in resolving the situation, we need to know the name of your internet service provider. Other relevant information you are willing to provide, such as the time of your connection attempt and the city, state, and country you're connecting from, may be very helpful. While we don't want to invade anyone's privacy, if you know the IP number you're connecting through, that is extremely helpful. Any such information provided will be used _only_ for technical support and site security purposes.

Some of the immediate security measures we take to maintain the integrity of our system may temporarily affect the ability of some responsible users to connect to PetitionOnline.com. This is especially likely for a small fraction of AOL users, since AOL is functioning at the moment as a haven for vandals. Because some other ISPs, like ATT.net, share access points with AOL, their users may also be effected.

In the long run, we won't let a few miserable provocateurs ruin the free speech of millions of responsible participants at PetitionOnline.com. By calm persistence, together we will hold the upper hand over that tiny number of people who apparently can't handle the basic responsibilities of free speech. Don't let the vandals get to you, and let's not give them any unnecessary satisfaction along the way.

    Thank you for your patience!

Did anyone else get that? Wonder if the author banned an ip range.

I filled out the form below but the error page isn't associated with any individual petition so it just said petition invalid. :)

  4. Pretty awesome. I saw this at GameReplays a couple days back too. Congrats, ES!

ES has done a great job and is one of the few teams out there to steadily climb the ladder of success. EA, BHG, and Blizz have all greatly suffered but ES has sailed by pretty smoothly except for the ES_ArchAngel story but I'm not 100% sure why he left.

    Here's to ten more. :)

On a slightly different topic, I bought TAD today. (y)

  5. You scored as Domitian.

Being Domitian isn't easy. The only way you understand how to do things well is by doing them yourself, and indeed you do them well, but the exclusion of important men from the process will eventually earn you your death. You are typical of many Roman emperors: thanklessly efficient and misunderstood due to the machinations of your enemies.
