Actually, if you have a big budget I would recommend the new Athlon-FX, it's the first 64-bit chip and it's fairly inexpensive compared to the Pentium 4.

A customizable GUI would be a very useful feature. Players would be able to remove things they never use or even turn of the GUI all together. I like it...

The plan is that paths will naturally develop on terrain that is frequently walked upon. Paths will provide a movement bonus to units and other types of terrain will hinder movement. I'm not sure if any of the civilizations will be able to build roads though. That's a question for the designers.

I've also read the Bible and have found it to be too contradictory, and rather "Man's word" than "God's word". Afterall, the Bible did have more than 40 authors, taking that entire divinity of it out the door, especially when one version contradicted another, and one book mentioned something contrary to another.
The Bible only appears to to contradict itself because it was originally written in Greek, which is a much more precise language than English, and the "contradictions" were introduced during translation . If you read the original texts you'll find that they are very exact and there are no contradictions.
There were many authors of the Bible, but that actually strengthens the argument of divine inspiration since there aren't any contradictions. These 40+ authors who came from many different walks of life wrote about controversial subjects and yet all the writings agree with each other.

It depends on whether or not the SDK has been released. If it hasn't, you'd probably be violating the EULA.

... but as far as the rest of the bible, I have found more and more evidence to doubt it. In the "Christian culture", my "doubts" weren't always address, and it wasn't until I took my own journey in research that I became aware of some serious troubles (theological, archeological, cultural) with the bible.
You've piqued my curiosity Frumpus, what 'doubts' and 'troubles' did you have?

I don't know what magazine you're reading, but those requirements are way off. The official minimum requirements are:

Well, the problem is that hex is not a language, it's a simply a base 16 number system. That is, it's just a way of counting using 16 digits (0-9,A,B,C,D,E,F) instead of the standard 10 digits (0-9). If you can get the source code of Empire Earth (I'm not sure if it's freely available or not) you will most likely find that it's written in C or C++. So in order to add formations you would need to know those languages. Even then it would most likely be a difficult task.

That's crazy... It's only a matter of time before they will be able to include "force feedback" as well. Virtual reality is on it's way.

What do you mean by "hex"? You don't mean hexadecimal do you?

User Interface?

It depends on how we specify the GUI. If it's a static image, of course it will be pratically impossible to accomplish, but if the GUI is defined by some type of script making it dynamic shouldn't be all that difficult.
