Ah! But you would if you could! That's a different story then! Have you perhaps moved in another place where you don't have internet yet?
-
You're kidding! I thought the wooden towers only were the issue...
-
Please, someone commits the new library and new colony?
-
Nice initiative!
-
What's the first building? I suppose the second one is the military colony?
-
YES! Just YES!

Makes me think about this:

Hi there wolflance! I support your civ. proposal at 100%! I would love to see khmer armies in an RTS. For the late game, I would think more about a mounted elephant unit (with archers and flamed arrows), and maybe an elite infantry guard unit (apsara guard?) reflecting the fanatism and devotion to their king. In the last centuries, the Khmer Empire had been severely weakened by the loss of vast territories (notably in the western part, with the uprising and progressive independance of siamese provinces) and the loss of its capital in Angkor Vat at the hands of Sukhotai...I think having champions like royal guards or monks should reflect the defensive_yet combative_ stance assumed by the political power during these troubled times...
I can already imagine the magnificence of decorated war boats with garuda shaped or naga shaped bows, majestic temples with gigantic towers, fierce yet elegant warriors, etc.
Here are some eye candies:

Ha ha! Yes I saw the webmasters's view afterwards...However the part about the tomb doesn't look like propaganda...
-
Indeed! Very beautiful.

I have found some screenshots of the online game "grepolis", but nothing that would fit well in 0ad. My idea for the greek CCs would be to elevate the stoa part (back part) a little bit so that it would be higher and more impressive compared to the front part. Then, distinctive little statues could be added (for example: a little Athena for athenians, a little Artemis for Spartans). The general design is very good, I just feel a little more height would make it even better

stanislas69, I didn't want to complain...I understand how few, and busy you artists are...I'll try to find some picture for Greek CC if it can help

The units don't look bad, but I'm not very enthusiastic about the architecture design...
-
About that...with all the progresses in the game and new buildings that have been made, maybe the greek CCs ought to be "revamped"? At least making the back part (stoa) a ittle more massive? Don't get me wrong, they're really pretty buildings, but not as distinguishable as CC as other CCs in the game...

But no obelisk Maybe a fountain...
-
Maybe...but giving the seleucids a dock is necessarily a good idea

Right...so I suppose no statue...

@stanislas69 Maybe the sitting statue of pharaoh of the CC, or his royal spouse...

That's terrific! But why not a statue instead of the obelisk?

I wonder where everybody has gone...exam time?

The spartan representations of their divinities seem to have been rather archaic, with wooden statues inside the temples. Here is a representation of Artemis in ivory, the spartan representation may have been in the same style:
