  1. Can't you use the SLT instruction in some clever way? Are you familiar with Boolean algebra: The basic idea is that you should be able to do AND, OR and NOT just with ordinary arithmetics. From a quick glance at the GLSL, I think it should be possible, but do report back if that doesn't make sense to you. I'm on it

  6. Those mountain ridges look quite nice. I guess the circular map format cuts out the valleys at the bottom of the heightmap.

  12. Ahem, it does happen on the latest commit on 0ad/master also. I must have botched my first test and forgot to set glsl to true or not moved the camera enough for the bug to show. Anyway, it is a bug in the engine, not in your changes.

  16. It happens when preferglsl is true and smoothlos is true or false and shadows are enabled, yes.
  17. I get the 'reveal minimap' issue on both merged and smoothlos now, though.
  18. Yes. But the black minimap issue seems to have been resolved on the smoothlos branch.
