Paal_101
Here is a video of a horse race gone bad:http://www.spikedhumor.com/articles/1434/Horse_Launch.htmlIt gives one an idea of the kind of crashes one could expect from a chariot in combat. In this case the yoke pole disconnects and digs into the ground. Kinda painful.
Historicity
That's awesome!!!! Would chariots randomly do that in 0 A.D.?
Mythos_Ruler
Reminds me of the Battle of Gaugamela in "Alexander" when the Persian chariots run headlong into the Macedonian phalanx. lol

Caesar
Good cinematic battle that one.'Alexander' had some good battle scenes, but overall the movie sucked and was inaccurate in many parts.Anyway, while on the topic of chariots, can we expect to see a crash like that when a chariot in 0ad get killed? Mythos_Ruler
As far as accuracy, "Alexander" is the closest of any epic.
Paal_101
Agree with Michael. Alexander, militarily was almost bang on with any history book you would ever open. The only thing that was blatantly different was that the phalangites were wearing white tunics rather than the historically described red. And the condensing of particular events at Gaugamela and certain actions there are explained in the director's commentary by Oliver Stone, where he says this isn't right, but for the sake of the story is done that way. As for chariot crashes, I do not know, although I imagine that it will be so.
Brownboot
The narration is HILARIOUS. In a terribly painful, saddening way...
