Some major finds

Well here are links to two major archaelogical finds in the last few weeks.

One is a recently discovered monument set up by Sulla (Mike calm down! :saruman:) to celebrate a victory over a Pontic general in Greece.

The second one is a discovery of a Gallic relgious offering that includes no less than FIVE almost totally intact carnyx - Celtic war trumpets, in addition to 10 swords, and 9 helmets.

Definatley the Celtic find is getting a lot of people excited. Among the helmets was a type not previously encountered. It has a swan built into the bowl that curves up at the front. Probably ceremonial, but its totally new ;) Don't expect it in 0 A.D. though :saruman: Plus some Celtic standards were found, and that is way cool.
