Bob Posted December 26, 2013 Report Share Posted December 26, 2013 Hello,After checking out and building the latest svn version (revision 14395) I had some issues where the units and buildings were not being rendered.http://bobstuff.org/media/game.png shows an example of what was happeningI was talking with some people on the IRC channel and we were trying different things to solve the problem and one was to set preferglsl=true in my config file. Sadly when doing this the game will crash just as the map finishes loading. The main log shows the message Vertex info-----------0(120) : warning C7050: "cosVec.w" might be used before being initializedWhich led me over to the bug for atlas crashing - http://trac.wildfiregames.com/ticket/2050?cversion=0&cnum_hist=12Setting novbo=truein my config and removing preferglsl stops the crashing and suprisingly allows the game to render units and buildings.I don't think this is the best solution and if anyone wants me to try something that might help with also fixing #2050 just let me know.I'm running gentoo with kernel version 3.10.17 and nvidia drivers version 331.20 on a gtx 550 ti.CheersBob Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
