tablack
Quad Core system with Nvidia card. 6 Gig ram. Running Linux Mint 11 x64. I have played several previous versions of this game and the problem always occurred when large civilizations were constructed. Under the newest version, 0ad runs CPU# 4 up to 100% fairly quickly. Spahbod
Yes the game lags mostly due to pathfinding. Developers are working to fix this for the next alpha I think. But for now, you can play the game without much lag in a "medium" sized map against 3 AI opponents. I always do it. historic_bruno
Unfortunately 0 A.D. doesn't really take advantage of multicore systems yet, this could improve with multithreaded AIs and pathfinding.
MishFTW
Yes, I've noticed that too. I used to think it was because of the shadow and water reflections. Sometimes the Menu lerping (animations) slow down and the camera movement starts to lag as well when there are multiple armies or many units clustered together.
