Potter
In the Design Doc for Atlas, it says that "The Editor will be internal and displayed ingame, not external". But, currently the Editor is external and done using wxWidgets. So, will it finally be moved ingame, or left as an external tool? Just curious
feneur
Hmm, that's probably only one of the things in that doc that needs to be updated So yes, it will remain an external tool. (It's almost the opposite now, with the game being displayed inside Atlas when testing the map =) )
Flamadeck
It would be neat to be able to edit a map while simultaneously letting it be playtested.I remember there was a game a few years ago that had modifiable terrains.Means it can be done. Any changes to units and buildings (after the playtesting has started) will be reset once the platesting is stopped, but all changes to the map (changed elevation, texture, etc) will remain.
