Alpha build order

Here's what I would do:

Send 50% females to gather berries; send all cavalry to hunt (chickens, deer, etc.)

Use 400 wood and build 4 Houses.

While doing that, build 1 Barracks (100 Wood, 100 Stone)

You now have 4 houses to train more females and a barracks with which to train more citizen-soldiers.

ASAP build a Gymnasion for Super Units. Right now Super Units pretty much pwn all citizen-soldiers (lol, balance, how does it work?!)... Make multiple Gymnasions (because building limits have not been implemented). Currently you can train multiple heroes from the Tholos, but I would agree on some house rules with your opponent that only one of each hero can be alive at once.

Remember you can shift-click the button to train 5, 10, 15+ units at once.

Shift clicking only works 1/10 times for me, Dont know why, maybe my shift keys playing up?
