Octavius Posted September 3, 2010 Report Share Posted September 3, 2010 This game looks unbelievably amazing; don't be upset with me but I am not a programmer/developer - I read that unless I have some technical proficiency I should probably wait for the pre-packaged installer... does anyone know if there will be an installer for the alpha version - I tried installing the game but failed miserably... over and over again... and even if I have to wait for an installer is there any way a non-programmer/developer can make any contribution to all of this??? thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Ykkrosh Posted September 4, 2010 Report Share Posted September 4, 2010 Our Mac support is currently not very good - we need Mac developers to help test and fix things and make it all work properly. I think it should be possible to compile the latest release on 10.5, but probably not 10.4 (I expect its tools are too old, and it definitely won't work on PPC) and probably not 10.6 (there are some 32/64-bit problems in the build system).
