nullist
Hey everybody, My name is Jordan. I am in the last leg of getting my b.s. in Computer Science at Eastern Washington University. I also compose music and do some foley. Here is a page to listen to some stuff that I have composed and this is a more specific style and genre, but I have very extensive library with a wide variety of styles, techniques and genres. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea...endID=423607102I noticed there was no position for music composition/production, who would I talk to about doing so? Certainly the position must exist, but WFG might be going to an outside source why not have someone as part of the team? Anyways, I am very interested in game development, whether programming or musical. I will continue to inquire and research into WFG for a position specific to my interests/abilities. feneur
Well, there's no reason for us to list the positions which aren't open, right? If you show us something more suitable to 0 A.D. than the music on your MySpace page I'll make sure our head of music will listen to it. nullist
What it is you are looking for and I will be more than happy to oblige. Classical based, drum heavy ensembles, for say battle sequences and calmer settings with some ambient instrumentation, I can pretty much capture and set any mood you guys are looking for in pretty much any style that is suitable for the game, I just want to help out. And the multiple posts thing wasn't a patience issue, but more an attention grabbing issue, I apologize, I just figured that a post like that would be ultimately ignored is the only reason for the multiple posts. Thanks for responding. Let me know.
feneur
The best way to get an idea for what we're looking for is to listen to the musical samples we already have up on the website. They might not be final, but they're far better indications of what we're looking for than any words I might say The tracks can be found at: http://www.wildfiregames.com/0ad/page.php?p=1495
