Hiya OAD'ers

Hi all,

Believe it or not I have never seen your OAD site before although I have been an avid RTS gamer since C&C first graced my old DX50 machine. (For you younger members a pre- pentium processer). Having read some of your forum messages and looked at the very nice screenshots I am keen to immerse myself in the world that you are creating and look forward to a future where OAD is available for play. You probably have loads of offers of help so I tnought it would be a good idea to add one of my own. I am an amateur map and scenario builder for most types of RTS game from Railroads! through to AOE. Though I have never published my maps they have achieved some acclaim with my friends. I would like to help with campaign building particularly, I pride myself on being able to write well and fluently in this area. Would also be happy to help with logistical/calculation issues within the game, math being my other strong point. My C programming is out of date so can't really be much help there I am afraid.

Obviously I would love to be involved in your Beta testing as and when it starts and will fill in the application form for the Beta test later today.

Thanks for all the nice words and I hope that you'll enjoy following the process as we get closer to a finished game.

Thanks for all your offers of help, we'll sure need a lot of people to help with scenario/map/campaign designing when we enter that phase. And testing of course, not sure where you've seen an application for beta testers though, as we're not really near that phase of development.
