This is how it looks when I start single player gameuntitled.bmp is this normal?????

After clicking on continue,game starts well but after starting single player game,it almost stops responding(very sluggish response) I am using Windows XP 32-Bit

I downloaded newest alpha today and installed the game successfully. But when i ran the game,a program error window appeared with the text: Function call failed: return value was -1 (Function failed (no details available)) Location: wdll_ver.cpp:61 (ReadVersionString) Call stack: 00531BDF 00534828 005120EB errno = 0 (?) OS error = 487 (Attempt to access invalid address. ) Can anyone help me with this?????????????
