    This is just a wild guess, but perhaps the OS is not being detected correctly? Are there other places where __APPLE__ needs to be enabled?
  2. ConcatenatedWords
    Replacing "-DLINUX" with "-D__APPLE__" in CXXFLAGS in the Makefile builds with the __APPLE__ conditional statements. I get the same error on the "Building Collada" part of the final make.
